They caught several Sturgeon over SEVEN feet in length with the biggest one over ELEVEN FEET in length.

The first show aired in 2004 and WON the 2004 BEST FRESHWATER FISHING SHOW OF THE YEAR.

Fishing on the Snake River is excellent all year long. Steelhead are in the river August through March and Salmon fishing is excellent in March and April.

Year after year the Snake is one of the top producing rivers  in the state. It is located 2 hours south of Spokane . It is a very scenic river with plenty of wildlife to watch as you catch acrobatic Steelhead or monster Salmon.

Northland is Licensed, Insured, and Coast Guard approved. The boat is equipped with a heater and cover for those less than perfect days. We can accommodate up to 4 people per fishing trip.

Go Sturgeon fishing, Salmon fishing, or Steelhead fishing or a combination trip of these hard fighting fish.  Sturgeon fishing in the Snake and  lower Columbia is excellent year round. In the Snake river gorge and from Bonneville to Longview we have some awesome days on the river. We will anchor over one of our holes when sturgeon fishing and bait our hooks with several different baits until the fish let us know what the hot bait for the day is. The most common baits are Smelt, Herring, and Shad.

Salmon fishing on the Snake and Columbia is excellent several months  of the year. We use several techniques when Salmon fishing including, trolling, and anchoring. We use several different baits and plugs depending on what the fish are doing.

Steelhead fishing is also good several months of the year on the Snake and Columbia rivers.  You can fish for Salmon, Sturgeon and Steelhead at the same time during certain times of the year which makes for a great time on the river.  Prime time’s fill up fast, so call early to book your trip.

on the smaller streams in the area.  Watching huge Salmon and Steelhead  make their way up a small stream to spawn is a thrill in itself.
